This is a beauty blog run by me, Patia. I'm a beauty enthusiast and full specialty (esthetics, makeup, and nail) student based in Florida and New York. I also have a background in graphic design, fashion e-commerce, & fine arts.

Skin care and makeup product reviews geared towards women of colour are extremely hard to find. While I love love love makeup, I truly believe that the best way to have makeup look amazing is to take care of your skin. I intend to use this blog to document personal favourites, reviews, and provide tips on how to play with your skin in order to achieve a natural flawless finish without the use of too many products.
Overall, I want to fill the gap between the beauty industry and women of colour.

Here is some background info for reviews-
ETHNICITY- African American + Filipino
SKIN TYPE- Combination T-zone, blackhead prone
SKIN COLOUR- MAC NW40/MAC 45. I don't wear MAC foundation, but you feel me.
EYE COLOUR- Dark brown
HAIR COLOUR/TYPE- Brown black/dyed blue black every 4 months. Naturally wavy & thick but straightened once a week.
LIPS- Very pigmented. Top lip more pink toned, bottom lip more brown toned.
Also just a reminder, the products that work for me might not work for you. Everyone's skin is different especially when you factor in diet, environment, etc.
